چکیده

Development of a teleoperation system means development of several subsystems, such as control devices modules, communications and graphic user interface. Each one of these components is studied, conceived, and built generally in an independent way with particular software and methods. The complexity of the system can involve a very expensive development and integration of components to complete the system. In this case an environment of evaluation very easily configurable and domain-adaptable is a useful tool. In this article, we propose ASSET, a reusable framework for the development of systems of teleoperation. Our system allows to test simulation models, 3D scenes, behaviors of autonomous entities and new devices. This system was used with modules of behavioral simulation developed in the laboratory to study the assistance of autonomous robots within the framework of a teleoperation mission. Key-Words: teleoperation testbed, robotics, simulation, interaction devices, frameworks, virtual reality

Bilateral Teleoperation Systems Using Backtracking Search optimization Algorithm Based Iterative Learning Control

This paper deals with the application of Iterative Learning Control (ILC) to further improve the performance of teleoperation systems based on Smith predictor. The goal is to achieve robust stability and optimal transparency for these systems. The proposed control structure make the slave manipulator follow the master in spite of uncertainties in time delay in communication channel and model pa...

Delay-dependent stability for transparent bilateral teleoperation system: an LMI approach

There are two significant goals in teleoperation systems: Stability and performance. This paper introduces an LMI-based robust control method for bilateral transparent teleoperation systems in presence of model mismatch. The uncertainties in time delay in communication channel, task environment and model parameters of master-slave systems is called model mismatch. The time delay in communicatio...

FinalReport: Remote Manipulation for D&D Exhibiting Teleautonomy and Telecollaboration

Teleoperation has found much application in today’s society. While its benefits make it advantageous in many situations, teleoperation also introduces new challenges. For example, the operator is forced to work with limited sensory feedback such as that from video cameras. Second, the mapping from what the operator inputs at the master manipulandum to what the operator sees the slave robot do c...

Neuro-fuzzy control of bilateral teleoperation system using FPGA

This paper presents an adaptive neuro-fuzzy controller ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System) for a bilateral teleoperation system based on FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). The proposed controller combines the learning capabilities of neural networks with the inference capabilities of fuzzy logic, to adapt with dynamic variations in master and slave robots and to guarantee good prac...

An Advanced Teleoperation Testbed

Due to the technology available, most previous work in teleoperated robotics used relatively low-resolution video links and provided limited perceptual feedback to the teleoperator. In most cases, these projects reported only limited teleoperator success compared to vehicles with human drivers on-board. We set out to build a high-fidelity teleoperation system which takes advantage of recent tec...
